
| KAT County 98.3 Community Calendar You are invited to the dedication for the Dream Redeemer Sculpture at Prairie Park, 807 Elm Street in Sterling Sunday September 7 from 2-4pm. Dedication program begins at 2:30pm The City of Sterling will observe Labor Day on Monday September 1. Because of the holiday there will be no trash collected on that day. Rollouts normally collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday along with Tuesday's route. The City of Sterling will be fogging mosquitoes starting about 10:30 pm on Thursday August 28 to be completed by about 8am on Friday August 29. If fogging operations are cancelled due to weather they will be conducted August 29-30 at the same times. Fogging area includes the entire City of Sterling with special target areas being all city parks, the cemetery, and the fishing pond. Wray Recreation Department will have registration for fall activities including gymnastics, NFL flag football, crafts and NFL punt, pass, and kick on August 28 from 6-8pm at the Wray Roundhouse. The Yuma Recreation Dept will have fall registration for volleyball and football September 5th at City Hall in Yuma. The sixth annual National Radial Engine Exhibition and Airshow will be held at the Colorado Plains Regional Airport in Akron on Saturday, September 6th. The 2008 Logan County Youth Expo will be Saturday September 13 from 10am- 4pm at the Logan County Exhibit Center. The expo will give Logan County's youth and their parents a place to come together and learn about after school and community programs that are available.
