The owner of this home writes "Whenever we get a wind storm, sand blows everywhere we don't want it!
What we need is some grass.  Our dream yard would have rock gardens, bushes and flowers on raised
beds.  We would like some trees, grape vines and berry bushes"

My yard was half dead and half weeds when I moved in, but hasn't improved because I foster dogs for
Logan County Humane Society and Homeward Bound Rescue so there is a lot of stress on the yard. I
would love a yard that is dog-friendly, easy to maintain, and easy to keep clean, using areas of grass and
rocks, some pretty bushes, and allowing me to keep my trees.

Our deck is blah.  It could use a makeover in a bad way. We bought our home in hopes of hosting many
pool parties on our deck.  But our deck leaves a lot to be desired.  Will you please help us make our
deck a retreat for family and friends?

My yard has become a digging ground for our dogs!  The rose bush in the front has gone wild and will not
bloom any more so I would like it removed and plant a nice flower garden.  The dogs have dug up the
other flower garden – even digging up the landscape timbers.  I would like some trees and flowers and
make an area where the dogs can have shade and they will stop digging!

We are a young couple who just became first time home owners.  We dream of putting in a nice
backyard for our son to play in but all we are able to do is seed sections at a time.  Our dreams are to
have lots of grass with rock boarder and flower gardens around the house.  Maybe a sand area for a
swing set when he gets older.

Believe it or not, three years ago my yard was a green oasis.  When my daughter and her twin babies
moved in there was no time for watering, fertilizing, or weeding.  As soon as we got off work we helped
with the boys and did housework.  We were all exhausted and really didn't care what happened outside.  
Now that they have moved on we are so sad that we have a blowout for people to see when they drive in.
 Our dream is to put in underground sprinklers, drought friendly plants, and a rock garden for easy care.  
The center of the circle drive we want to fill with Scotch and Ponderosa Pines, rocky areas, and a BBQ
pit for entertaining.  We want to bring the mountains to the sandhills.  It would once again be our Oasis!

Buffalo grass.  That’s what most people call it.  We call it our nightmare.  Every Spring, we watch our
neighbor’s yards get green & beautiful…& we can’t even let the kids go out barefoot!  The grass is hard
& crispy.  It pokes their feet!  All we want is normal, kid friendly grass that they can play & have fun on.  A
new deck/patio would be nice too…don’t get me started on the “patio” we have now…

Our 4 children are desperate for green of any kind plants or grass.  We moved into our country home
over 2 years ago and still have not gotten to the outside.  We are both educators who are very smart with
our money.  The only way we could purchase our house was to finish building the inside ourselves.  We
have started the underground drip system but have not finished it as you can see from the pictures.  We
have a dog who likes to dig holes to China if possible so please pick us and help with this project. I know
this is way bigger that 3000 square feet so we would love help with the area closest to the house.

AS YOU CAN SEE, WE HAVE A MOUNTAIN IN THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE AND THIS IS
DEFINITELY NOT THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN!!!  OUR YARD IS EXTREMELY UGLY!  INSTEAD OF
BLOOMING FLOWERS AND PLANTS, WE ATTRACT ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF SAND INSIDE THE
HOUSE.  BESIDES THAT, WE ALSO HAVE THE "PRICKLERS" AND TUMBLE WEEDS ALL OVER
OUR YARD.  NOTHING GROWS BESIDES THESE UNPLEASANT LOOKING WEEDS.  IT'S NOT
PLEASANT TO RELAX OUTSIDE AS WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING PRETTY IN SIGHT.  WE WOULD
LIKE RICH GRASS, COLORFUL FLOWERS, AND BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES TO BEAUTIFY THIS
UGLY SIGHT.  WE NEED THE EXTREME MAKEOVER, PLEASE MAKE IT COME TRUE!!!

Hi, we lost our home in a fire 5 years ago. and of course we had hot dry winds every summer since. We
would love to have underground sprinklers, grass , bushes and flowers. We need a sidewalk we would
love pavers. All our energy has been trying to recover from the fire financially and not much energy for
making a beautiful yard and deck area.

As you can see, the yard has been overwhelming for us to tackle since our move closer to the family
farm.  My 2 kids love to plant, water, and watch things grow but right now all we have is sand and
stickers!  When it rains – what a mess!  Our dream is to have a lawn with some trees to block the wind!  
We promise to take care of the new yard if chosen!
