Green! Weeds :(
Three trees! Each is at least half dead :(
A great view... of the dumspster and the alley.
A great fence!
Covered patio! Needs a new roof:(
Why is there a sidewalk to no where?
Why is there a fence around one of the trees?
Irrigation? No, but plenty of irritation.
Dog run! That has so many weeds and holes the dog can’t use it:(
Room! Space! The possibilities! Large:( Lack of knowledge:( Overwhelming:(
Want.... Grass, flowers, irrigation, a table, a fire pit. Someplace for the dog and I to both enjoy ourselves
and possibly entertain some guests.

I run a daycare home for many families in Morgan County, I start at 4:30 am and end my day at 12:30 am
Monday thru Friday. My home is always busy with all ages of children and I would like to be able to
provide a better backyard atmosphere for them to play. We have tried getting the yard in better shape but
it just doesn't happen. We need a quick fix. The new yard would allow them to play in the pool without
having to clean it every 5 minutes and being covered in dead grass and dirt. It would also allow us to
spend the money we save trying to create grass , on better playground equipment for the children.

Seeking Paradise!
We seed.  We weed.  We hoe.  We mow.  We stake.  We rake.
We plant.  We water.  We prune. We trim.
We toil so very hard in our backyard.
So why isn’t our space a paradise place?
We’re in dire need to commune with nature in ways that say…
You’re on a retreat that can’t be beat!  Put up your feet!
Turn on the grill. Have a refill.  Feel the thrill. You’re in Margaritaville!
I'm keeping my trowels crossed for good luck.  Thank you!

Wanted: Country Charm
My parents have the basic yard for country living.  It's not bad, but it's missing the WOW factor.  Since our
family lifestyle has changed over the past couple of years, our yard has been ignored.  My mom believes
that because we live in the country, we can't have the yard of our dreams.  But what better place to sit,
relax, and enjoy God's creation?  Our family dream yard would include an underground sprinkler system,
perennial beds, BBQ area, luxurious lawn - a place for family and friends to come to enjoy Country
Charm.  As a family we have always enjoyed summer BBQs with our extended family and friends.  We
would like to continue this gradation of "eating-out" in our dream Backyard Paradise full of Country
Charm.

Our yard is summarized in three words...dirt and weeds!  When the wind blows (which in the country is
quite often), vast amounts of broken glass and pottery are exposed, not to mention the tremendous
amount of dirt that gets tracked into the house.  It is dangerous and disgusting!  Grass would solve both
issues and be a huge blessing to our family.  We would trust the rest to you and your creative team.
PLEASE HELP!

It’s so hard being a yard these days! My owners only have enough money to cover the mortgage and
groceries with nothing left to spend on me.  I spend my days being blown or washed away.  At night I find
my solace dreaming of green luscious grass, white picket fences and being a yard my owners’ 16 month
old can play in.  For now drilled oats and pesky weeds will have to do.

We would like to trade 10 lbs premium goat-head seed and all-you-can-eat
rhubarb delicacies for a real yard. In March 2008 I bought my first home.  A fix-er-upper that had been
vacant for a couple of years... but had fabulous potential, and plenty of room for the two kids, dog, cat, and
occasional stray fish.  In April 2008, I lost my job and the household's primary income. Obviously, in such
a situation the fix's that are upper on the priority list don't include the grass. We have been told by the
neighbors that once this house had the best yard on the block - with a great fence, thick sod, and fabulous
flower beds.  (The neighbors say these things with longing, and a hint of disapproval, especially
as our lawnmower is currently broken.)  We would love green grass front and back, flowers in the flower
beds, and a garden area that is not completely overrun with goat-heads and other rare weed species.
We would love to know what is planted where, so that we can weed the weeds and leave the flowers.
It would be really nice to have some sort shelter in the back yard to make year-round BBQ-ing a happier
event. It is not that we have nothing to offer - in the back we have a fence, a large quantity of rhubarb in a
defunct brick planter, and a 1970's wooden picnic table.  On the east we have a healthy crop of
hollyhocks that have perhaps "escaped cultivation." Rounding the corner from the east side of the house
to the front (the south) you pass through our garden of rare and difficult to kill mushrooms. Here you will
also see the flower beds designed to pour all water toward the foundation of the house.   There is a
sprinkler system both front and back - which is the only reason we haven't rototilled the lot and
started over.
Please consider us for your backyard paradise promotion! It would not only be
the best thing that has happened to us all year, but the neighbors would thank
you!

I finally get to retire to my backyard paradise after 34 years at Fort Morgan Middle School. NOT! Tree
roots have caused not one, but two, trenches being dug for repairs. The "grass" is a combination of
dandelions, milkweed, dirt, etc. The willow tree was removed after an ice storm broke it down. There isn't
one flower, bush, or tree! I would love a small patio surrounded by a lush yard with some colorful plants
that need little water. I dream of sipping a lemonade in my new oasis while enjoying my retirement.

Right now my back yard consists of a field. I have a 9 month old daughter and as she grows she will need
a safe place to play. My dream yard would have a patio between the dog run and the house to keep mud
to a minimum as well as a fenced grassy area for my daughter to be able to play in.
